Klacar moves households and businesses from the Burlington, Hamilton and Toronto area to every province in Canada. Your goods load onto our trailer at your door and ride with one carrier, so there is one price, one operations coordinator and one crew responsible for the whole move.

A long-distance move with Klacar means your goods leave your driveway on a trailer that belongs to us, with a crew that works for us. Klacar has run its own trucks from Burlington since 2012.
The difference from a broker is simple. A broker sells your move, then finds a carrier. We are the carrier. When you call 289-855-5544 mid-route, the operations coordinator can see the truck.
Long-distance moves are quoted in writing from a walkthrough, with a pickup date and a delivery window agreed before anything is booked. Packing, storage at either end and specialty items are priced as options, so you pay for what your move actually needs.
Options priced individually.

Full packing or fragile-only, with cartons and wrapping built for long-distance transit.
A whole 53-foot trailer for a large home, or a shared load for a smaller one that shares the trailer and the cost.
Every item listed and tagged at pickup, checked off at delivery.
Goods can wait in our Burlington warehouse before departure. If you need a hold at the destination, ask when you call and we tell you how it is arranged.

By weight or volume and distance, plus any packing, storage or specialty handling. A walkthrough, on site or by video, produces a written quote. Long-distance moves are not priced by the hour.
Yes. Moves into the US are on the cross-border moving page.
Long-distance moves are priced by the weight or volume of the load and the distance, plus packing, storage and specialty items. A dedicated trailer and a shared load are priced differently. Both are quoted so you can choose.
Dedicated means your goods are the only thing on the trailer and it goes direct from your door to the new one. Shared means your goods ride with other shipments on the same route, and the price and delivery window depend on the arrangement quoted.
It depends on the season and whether the load is dedicated or shared. The delivery window is in writing before the truck is booked.
Yes. Every province. The pickup is a local crew from our own yard, and the same company delivers at the other end.
Ask about your route when you call. Klacar is the one company responsible for your goods regardless.
