Freight · LTL, Truckload & Auto Transport

Pallets, part loads,
full loads and vehicles.

Klacar hauls freight across Canada and into the United States on trailers we own. Full truckload when the clock matters, less-than-truckload when the budget does, and auto transport for the vehicles that need to get there too.

Straight answer

What kind of freight do you move?

Klacar moves palletized freight, part loads, dedicated truckloads and vehicles across Canada and to the United States, on trailers and straight trucks we own and maintain in Burlington, Ontario.

Full truckload is the direct option: one shipper, one trailer, pickup to delivery with standard or expedited timing. Less-than-truckload shares the trailer and the cost, and suits a few pallets that do not need a whole 53 feet. Auto transport moves vehicles door to door, with cross-border paperwork coordinated.

What all three share is the equipment and the operations coordinator. We are an asset-based carrier established in 2012. The trailer that arrives is ours, and the person who answers 289-855-5544 can see it.

What's included

Three ways to ship

Each quoted separately so the right one wins.

01

Full truckload (FTL)

A dedicated 53-foot trailer, direct from your dock to theirs. Standard or expedited.

02

Less-than-truckload (LTL)

A few pallets on a shared trailer, priced by the space you use, on regular lanes.

03

Auto transport

Door-to-door vehicle moves across Canada and to the US, with export and import documents coordinated.

04

Liftgate & dock-free delivery

Liftgate trailers, walk boards and pallet jacks for sites with no dock.

05

Blanket wrap & uncrated freight

Furniture, fixtures and equipment moved without crating, wrapped and secured on the trailer.

06

Cross-border freight

Commercial shipments into and out of the US with the customs paperwork coordinated before the crossing.

How it works

From first call to last box

01

Tell us the load

Pallet count, dimensions, weight, pickup and delivery addresses, and whether either end has a dock.

02

Quote, FTL or LTL

Both options priced if the load fits either. Liftgate, inside delivery and blanket wrap added as needed.

03

Pickup on our truck

A 26-foot straight truck or a 53-foot trailer from our own fleet, with our own driver.

04

In transit

Operations in Burlington can see the truck and answers the phone. No freight broker in the chain.

05

Delivery

To the dock, the curb, or the room.

Why it matters

Specifics beat
adjectives.

Shippers ask three things: what equipment, which lanes, and who do I call. Here are the answers.

01Equipment we own

Straight trucks and 53-foot trailers, most of them with liftgates.

02Lanes we run

Across Canada and into the United States.

03An operations coordinator, not a call centre

Burlington operations, seven to seven Monday to Friday, with an operations coordinator who knows where your load is.

04Delivery to the room, not the curb

Inside delivery, debris removal and white glove handling on the same truck.

Questions and answers

Before you call

Straight answers to the questions we hear most.

What is the difference between LTL and full truckload?

Full truckload (FTL) gives your freight the whole trailer, direct from pickup to delivery, which is usually fastest. Less-than-truckload (LTL) shares the trailer with other shippers, which usually costs less and suits a few pallets. We quote both so you can pick.

What equipment do you run?

26-foot straight trucks for city deliveries, and 53-foot trailers for full loads, most of them liftgate-equipped.

Which regions do you serve?

Ontario, the rest of Canada and into the United States.

How much does it cost to ship a pallet from Burlington to Toronto?

LTL is priced by the space and weight; a full truckload by the trailer and the lane. Liftgate and inside delivery are listed in the quote.

Do you run reefer or flatbed?

Dry van and straight truck are the core fleet. Ask about anything else when you call.

Can you deliver to a residence or a site with no dock?

Yes. Most of our trailers carry liftgates, and walk boards and pallet jacks are carried as standard.

Do you ship to the United States?

Yes. Commercial freight both directions with the customs paperwork coordinated before the crossing.

How do I book a regular lane?

Call operations. Regular lanes between the GTA, Hamilton and points across Canada can be quoted as a program.

Can you cross-dock or hold freight?

Yes. Our Burlington warehouse is minutes from the QEW. See storage and warehousing.

Do you move vehicles?

Yes. Door-to-door auto transport across Canada and to the US, with the export and import paperwork coordinated.

How fast can you pick up?

Call operations at 289-855-5544 with the pickup address and the freight, and we put the earliest truck we can on it.
